The process for account deactivation is similar to how an account is created/updated - The info is entered/updated in HRLinks (if an employee) or GCIMS (if a contractor), and then the data is synced to OLU via an automated process, which may take up to 48 hours.
Account deactivation requests/inquiries are not common but should a user inquire about it, we may use the SR below.
IMPORTANT! If the user (Contractor) is unsure of who their COR (Contracting Officer's Representative) is, kindly advise them to contact their Supervisor/Manager or perhaps the person who assisted with their GSA onboarding, in order to get the contact information. |

Kindly note that OLU accounts are automatically deactivated when the information is updated in either HRLinks (for employees) or GCIMS (if a contractor) and then synced with the OLU. This process may take up to 48 hours.
For contractor accounts, the COR will need to be contacted to verify that the user is inactive in GCIMS.
Please let me know if it has been more than 48 hours since HRLinks or GCIMS has been updated. We will then escalate the issue to the GSA OLU Administrators for further assistance.
