| Specialist Notes: |
When a user states they're an Employee, but their account appears as a Contractor, it's possible that the user was recently hired as an Employee and the change did not reflect in the OLU yet. These users may contact us due to not being able to locate certain courses, not having the ability to add an SF-182 (only available to Employees), or not being assigned to the Employee Mandatory Curriculum.
For the process to go smoothly, the HR Rep/Specialist would need to ensure the user's GCIMS gets deactivated, and also have an HRLinks account for the new employee, with the most up to date information. The time frame can vary because the official transition cannot happen in the middle of a pay cycle.
Please ask them to confirm the recent change in Employment Type. Then, kindly provide the SR below.
Note: If you noticed their account is already showing as an Employee (with manager's info, etc.), instead of providing the SR, just let them know that their employment type is now correctly reflected in their OLU account.

Thank you for your patience. We were able to verify that, unfortunately, you're still listed as a Contractor in your OLU account. Please note that it may take up to 2 weeks for the change in employment type to be reflected in OLU. Kindly contact your HR Rep should you need assistance with the change.
If it has been more than 2 weeks since the employment type change, and the HR Rep confirmed the proper changes were made to the GCIMS and HRLinks systems, please let us know. We will then escalate a ticket to the OLU Administrators so they can look into this and further advise.
