Specialist Notes:


If a contractor needs to change their name or other profile information, they will need to contact their COR (Contracting Officer's Representative) and verify that their information is correct in GCIMS (GSA Credential and Identity Management Systems) and make the update/correction if needed.


IMPORTANT! 


If the user (Contractor) is unsure of who their COR (Contracting Officer's Representative) is, kindly advise them to contact their Supervisor/Manager or perhaps the person who assisted with their GSA onboarding, in order to get the contact information.

If the COR is the one reaching out to us for assistance with GCIMS OR the User/COR states that it has been more than 72 hours since the correction was made, please refer them to the GSA IT Helpdesk (866 450-5250, ITServiceDesk@gsa.gov) for further assistance. Escalate if there's pushback or if they state they contacted IT Helpdesk.


Standard Response:


The GSA Administrators kindly advise that you need to contact your COR so they can verify that your information is correct in GCIMS and make changes as needed. Once GCIMS is updated, it will sync with the OLU in the next data cycle. This process can take up to 72 hours.
