Support Category: Performance Management Inquiry

Specialist Notes:

The GSA Mentoring Program is available in OLU. GSA Employees can become a Mentor (assist another employee with career development) or Mentee (seek assistance to further their career).

Users can access the GSA Mentoring Program page via the ‘Mentoring’ tab. On the page, users will find multiple options, which include links to instructions.

If the user has further inquiries and the information is not located within the job aids, please provide the SR below to refer them to the GSA Mentoring Program POC.

Note: if a user reaches out stating they’re not locating their Mentor in the list of available mentors, we can ask the user to provide the Mentor’s name and email address and check if the user is properly set as ‘Willing to Mentor’. The information is located within the User Record page, under the ‘Mentoring Information’ section (you may need to click the down-facing arrow to expand the section).

If it says ‘Yes’, kindly let the user know their Mentor is properly set as Willing to Mentor and they can attempt to locate it by removing all filters when searching. This will show the full list of available Mentors.

IMPORTANT!

If you have access to GSA OLU, kindly open the Mentor/Mentee or Check-In instructions linked on the GSA Mentoring Page and refer to it while assisting users. If you do not have access to OLU, please ask for guidance on Teams, or create a ticket if no one with OLU access is available at the time. We should only provide the SR below to refer the user to the POC if the information is not located within the job aids.
