IMPORTANT! The 2025 GSA IT Security and Privacy Awareness Training was assigned separately from the refresher curriculums, and it has a different due date.
This course is comprised of 4 modules: IT Security Awareness Training, Sharing Securely in a Collaborative Environment, Safeguarding GSA Sensitive Information, and IT Rules of Behavior. All 4 must all be completed to receive credit for this combined course. |
WHAT SHOULD YOU KNOW? There are other Mandatory Training curriculums that are specific for certain organizations or positions. (example: for OIG, Supervisor, Executive, etc.) We do not see inquiries regarding these curriculums very often so instead of listing them in this KB article, you can look into the LMS (or ask someone with GSA access to look into it for you). For assignment inquiries, the Admins requested that we refer users to the Mandatory Training Team at mandatorytraining@gsa.gov |
HOW SHOULD WE ASSIST? Should a user inquire about a mandatory course that is not within their specific Curriculum, let them know it's not part of their Mandatory Curriculum, so it's not a Mandatory course for them. If you get pushback from the user on this, kindly refer them to Mandatory Training Team at mandatorytraining@gsa.gov Example: The user is a Contractor but is inquiring about the 2025 Annual Ethics Training course which is only available for existing Employees under the 2025 Mandatory Annual Refresher Courses for All GSA Employees curriculum. |
